There are many variables when measuring fridge temperature. The bottom side of the fridge might be a lot colder than the top. And if you place the sensor close to a cooling plate at the bottom, it might give you a colder reading than lets say if you were to mount the sensor at the top of your fridge. With this in mind, most users only require the relative temperature and are not concerned about getting an exact scientific measurement. This unit is not factory calibrated so please expect a margin of error.
